Welcome to Arana Bridge Club

... where visitors, beginners, members and guests are always welcome.

Our modern air-conditioned club house located in the Tramway Street parklands at Ferny Grove in north-west Brisbane comfortably accommodates 40 tables. Currently we have around 250 home members, and 30 non-home members.

Ample car parking and disabled access are available.

We cater for all levels of experience with beginners classes held at regular intervals. Help with play is available after completing the lessons.

Bridge hands are computer dealt with personal scorers and hand records available at every session. With bridgemate scoring, Results are available at the end of play, and on our web site shortly after.

We play regular duplicate sessions on Monday (am, pm), Tuesday (am), Wednesday (pm), Friday (am) and Saturday afternoon. Social Bridge/ Help with Play is on Thursday afternoon.

Table fees are $5.00 for members and $6.50 for visitors. Session winners (outright/ handicap on alternate weeks) receive a free game voucher.

New members are always welcome - membership fee is just $15 per year (plus $11 QBA and $12 ABF affiliation fees if you're not already paying these through another club membership) and a once only joining fee of $10.

Our library contains an extensive range of bridge books and videos available at no charge to members.

Arana conducts two congresses per year: a one-day Swiss teams in February and a Swiss pairs & teams weekend in May/June.
